TASTING PANEL 2004 White Burgundies David Vogels, CWP

Montrachet’s reputation as the sweet spot for Chardonnay was tested in a Sommelier Journal tasting panel at New York’s Picholine restaurant. Twelve wines from the 2004 vintage in the two Montrachet communes of the Côte de Beaune—Chassagne-Montrachet and Puligny-Montrachet—were sampled, ranging from village wines to premiers crus and grands crus.
