Zinfandels from an unheralded corner of California showed their colors in Sommelier Journal’s largest Tasting Panel to date. To wrap up our first Terroir Experience in March, producers from Lodi and from Amador and El Dorado counties supplied 24 recent releases for a blind tasting by the entire group of participants (see box).
