WINERY SPOTLIGHT Owen Roe Winery, St. Paul, Oregon Jennifer Cossey CSW Jennifer Cossey discovered wine while attending school in California and has since worked in a variety of capacities in the industry. She currently serves as the wine director for Veritable Quandary in Portland, Ore. She is a Certified Sommelier through the Court of Master Sommeliers and a Certified Specialist of Wine through the Society of Wine Educators. As a wine journalist, she has contributed to Oregon Wine Press, Wine Business Monthly, Northwest Palate Magazine, 1859 Magazine, Oregon Public Broadcasting, Wine Press Northwest, and Mix Magazine.

This Pacific Northwest producer has its heart in the past and its head in the future. Though its namesake is long deceased, Owen Roe Winery is no old-timer: its first vintage was 1999.
